Yes, no sex stories, please. I don't need ProBoards throwing a fit and slapping a TOS violation on our site. Lol.
Anyway, moving on to a less... dangerous subject, everyone will be happy to know that your characters will be receiving some IC awards.
Grace will be receiving the Combat Action Ribbon and Purple Heart.
Faust will be receiving a Purple Heart.
Mstislav will be receiving the Legion of Honor posthumously.
And Cruz and Willowby are receiving Ninja Punches for being stupid lmao. If you guys think there are other awards your character deserves, lemme know and give me a reason why and I'll see about making it happen. Eventually I might add a section to the CSVs for ribbons and awards. That is, if you guys want that, of course.

Considering that Sigma Octanus is far away from the frontlines, and that's where we will be picking you guys up from, it wouldn't exactly make sense for him to be in armor with his weapons on him.
Instead, his armor and miscellaneous gear would be in his footlocker (which'll be aboard the Pelican) and any spare uniforms and such would be in his seabag. When the newbies report to Second Platoon, they'll probably be wearing the grey cross-branch fatigues with soft covers (you could say Stringer's wearing a boonie).
So, negative on being in armor.

No problem. Like I said, you can customize his appearance a little. Maybe say his sleeves are rolled up and instead of wearing a regular eight-point garrison cover, he's wearing a boonie instead. That way he still stands out from the others without having to be in armor.

As far as this RPG is concerned, there are four pairs of fatigues the Marine Corps fields.
The cross-branch grey fatigues (also worn by the Army) that are seen worn by the Marines in Halo: CE.
A digital woodland camouflage utility uniform worn in jungle and forested environments.
A digital desert uniform for arid environments.
And white fatigues for snow environments.
I figure since we're currently aboard ship, it would make the most sense that we would be wearing the cross branch fatigues. When we start our next mission, obviously we'll be wearing a different set of fatigues.

Let me just say, even being "in uniform" the guys who've been there before always stand out. You would be shocked at what rolled up sleeves and a boonie say about a member of the military.

Davis makes a good point (ten points to Gryffindor). That said, I'll allow you to wear woodies instead of the cross-branch cammies. I mean, Stringer is definitely gonna stand out from the FNGs, but I guess it wouldn't hurt to say he's wearing a different pair of fatigues from everybody else. Oh, and Mason, you're message just mysteriously poofed. Must be that self-destruct you triggered.  |

Stringer, Gray, McMillan, get ready. I hope to be moving us forward Friday by time skipping forward to Sigma Octanus IV. Next Friday, of course.
That gives everyone some extra time to have their characters get in some more social interaction and for my character and Wilkas to have their meeting.
If not next Friday, then by that Sunday. I'm not trying to rush anybody or anything, I am just trying to make sure things move along at a steady pace. Which, I haven't really had to worry about much lately. We've been moving things along at a pretty constant pace. I expect things to slow down a little, but I'm not too worried about it.
Anyway, like I said, be ready. You'll be joining in on all the fun very soon.
