Greetings, Yep. It's that time again. The time when biology takes its hold over us, and things start naturally happening in which we cannot control, and it gets mess- Oh. Wait. That's something totally different. Nevermind. Lol, no. It's time for another one of our activity checks. Since we skipped the month of April and you might be a little fuzzy on how this all works, let me refresh your memory. You have two weeks to post in here, which lets us know you are actively visiting our site. Once you have posted in here, we will go perusing through the site to see how many times you have posted in the actual RP. If your activity is deemed low, we will inform you of it via PM and encourage you to be a tad more active if possible. If there are extenuating circumstances keeping you from posting, we'll understand. Which brings me to the next part. Those of you who have requested leave via the LOA sub-board do not have to worry about posting in this activity check. If you are experiencing problems or extenuating circumstances in real life, posting an LOA request would be your best option to avoid being considered inactive, or at the very least PM'ing myself or Cruz. I think that pretty much covers everything from before. So, simply post below with your name and any other information you wish to include. I am not having you recite a line of script this time because... well... blame Mason I just decided against it this time. Haha just kidding, Mason. That is all. ~ The Staff ~

Marines, countrymen, and lovers! Hear me for my cause, and be silent, that you may hear: believe me for mine honour, and have respect to mine honour, that you may believe: censure me in your wisdom, and awake your senses, that you may the better judge. If there be any in this assembly, any dear friend of Peaces, to him I say, that Brutus' love to peace was no less than his. If then that friend demand why Brutus rose against peace, this is my answer:– Not that I loved peace less, but that I loved War more. Had you rather peace were living and die all slaves, than that peace were dead, to live all free men? As peace loved me, I weep for him; as he was fortunate, I rejoice at it; as he was valiant, I honour him: but, as he was ambitious, I slew him. There is tears for his love; joy for his fortune; honour for his valour; and death for his ambition. Who is here so base that would be a bondman? If any, speak; for him have I offended. Who is here so rude that would not be a Marine? If any, speak; for him have I offended. Who is here so vile that will not love his Corps? If any, speak; for him have I offended. I pause for a reply.

Okay, Cruz, now you're just being a smartass. Very poetic, though, so I must give you props. Cruz is good to go (meaning you don't have to post with your main account). You haven't posted as this character, but I know the circumstances regarding it. Just get a post as both this character and Cruz up as soon as you can.

I believe the quote actually says "or die," but I could be wrong.
Either way, I find that quote strangely motivating. Thank you, Wilkas. Now I'm gonna be all motarded for the rest of the night hahaha.

Good luck on your exams! I hope you're able to pass them with flying colors. Also, once Davis posts, and I finally get around to a Stone post, we'll move into the C-Deck thread. I might try to draw things out as I want Mason and Cruz to post beforehand so that they can kind of catch up with us. Expect to see us moving forward within the next week or so. Hopefully sooner.

A little late, but all member's have posted and are considered good to go for the month of May.
These are the activity ratings.
Activity Rates Durant, M. - Active Cruz, M. - Lowering Activity Mason, I. - Low Activity Davis, E. - Lowering Activity Wilkas, G. - Active
Those who are in the "lowering activity" and "low activity" areas should try to improve their activity. Remember to let us know what's going on if there are things that are precluding you from being as active as you should be.
And if you need some time to handle things IRL, and do not have a lot of time to focus on posting, post in the LOA area so we won't be hounding you constantly about activity. If you have posted an LOA request, you do not need to worry about posting in activity checks. Leave of absences are pretty much temporary hall passes as far as activity is concerned.
That is all.
