Blame 343 for changing the damned Canon every five seconds. Lol.
If anything, just say it was the regular BR.

Regular BRs don't go full auto, do they?

Mason, I know that, I mean besides the burst.

That's exactly what Mason meant. He was answering your question. The regular BR only has semi-automatic and burst fire capabilities.

I hate double posting, but the new arrival thread is up! New people, you can post!
The B-Deck thread will remain open for those with on-going character interaction. It'll give y'all time to wrap things up before I lock it and move it. So no worries.
EDIT: I forgot to mention something. To the newbies, there are other characters in the Pelican with you, but they are NPCs. So you are in a Pelican with player characters and NPCs. The NPCs are gonna be distributed across the platoon, so they'll be of varying ranks and experience. Just letting you know.
Also, if you check your CSVs, your billets and team assignments have been listed. I will be updating the roster sometime tonight to account for our new people. Be advised: your characters won't be aware of where you're being assigned, only that you are to report to Second Platoon, Oscar Company under Lieutenant Durant aboard the Vengeance.

Posted a second time. I kept it short because I didn't want to control what Louise could have said, and leave it open for her to say as her character wants. My combat posts, and posts that have more going on around them, will be more lengthy though.

No worries. I'm not too concerned about post length during the intermissions, so long as they're at least three paragraphs I'm happy. You had enough for four paragraphs, so long as you don't mind, I edited the post to make four.
So, you're good to go. Like I said, as long as you have enough going on in your posts for people to reply to, and you have at least three paragraphs (which is like a hundred words roughly anyway) during the intermissions, I'm perfectly fine with that.

Is writing in 3rd person/past tense mentioned in the SOP? Or atleast not switching between past and present tense within the same post - It is oh so very bothersome to read.

That's fine durant. Thought about editing it to four myself.

I mentioned it to McMillan and he said he'd adjust accordingly. It's partially my fault anyway. I've been debating revamping our rules and I'll probably end up doing it, and have it include that third person past tense is required here. So I blame neither individual.
Also, to reduce clutter, I am going to have Cruz move the Downtime thread to the Past Operations area. It will still be open so we can continue posting, but it will be moved so it is out of the way in the B-Deck board. That way when I post the new thread tonight, there's no confusion as to which thread is the new one.
