time to take the city. Fuck the bridge, and at this point, fuck any cove who gets in the way of that task. With Stringer down two marines, he is going to be pissed off, and ready to lay down hate and discontent.
Also, doc, for the record. Bioform does wear off over time. Its in cannon. People can also still bleed through the form after about 30 minutes, and despite beam weapons or plasma, they can bleed none the less. It's been in the books.
Plus, you jab Stringer in the neck with a needle, you better run. Meds take time to take effect. Takes less than half a second to raise a gun and pull the trigger. Lol.

So, after the leader meeting in the C&C thread, and once everyone has wrapped up the social posts, we will skip ahead to 2300 local time and initiate our attack against the Covenant.
It will be glorious!

I just got the word: Upshaw is currently in Army basic training at Fort Sill. He will be unavailable until he gets back. I wish him luck at Basic and can't wait to congratulate him upon his return.

Hoo-ah!
Good time of the year to be at Sill. Better than say, August.

Hey gray, I need to know if you are going to npc lawrence or not. Also, durant, with your permission, I would like to have Stringer and Lawrence at the end of the bridge, maintaining security for the bridge and providing a forward watch.

Uh, you can be ahead of the group a bit, but not all the way at the end. If you are too far up and a Covenant squad rolls up, you're screwed. At least from a little ways ahead of the platoon you got the platoon behind you covering your six.

I know that summer is right around the corner, and for many of you this might be crunch time (if you're in school), but the activity on here has been kind of low. Lower than I like seeing. If we are to grow and to continue to be successful, we have got to be all be active. Now we have a two week post rule for precisely the reason of giving you guys ample time to write up posts.
If for some reason you have to go inactive for awhile, you need to let myself or any member of the Staff know. That way we know whether to wait for you to post or proceed forward. I'd like to see things pick back up here, guys. We're here to have fun... But if no one posts and carries the story forward, there is no fun to be had.
Right now I'm waiting on a few people to make posts. Once everyone has posted at least once, we're going to be moving forward with some pretty epic combat. We will be the tip of the spear in a large scale battle against the Covenant. If you cannot post this round for whatever reason, let me know. Also, to facilitate easier contact with me, if any of you have Skype and would like to add me I'd be more than happy to give you my username in a PM. Just ask and you shall receive.
Let's get this show back on the road, guys. I love reading everyone's posts because they are each so unique and well written. The different view points are awesome to see. You all have made Oscar Company such a great place to role-play, and have added twists to the ongoing story of our RPG that I would have never thought of before. Wilkas and Cruz's little secret hook-up sub-plot being one of the more memorable ones so far. And the PWOP bombshell was a superbly well delivered twist.
Some of you haven't had much chance to really flesh out your characters yet; to make the events of their backstories come alive. I hope in time you will find opportunities to do so. I have questions about events that occurred in say... Gray's backstory. The loss of her entire unit save a few. I'd love to see more of how that affected her in the future.
Short version of this already long story, I am hoping that we can continue moving forward with our story and our characters. I hope to see Oscar Company reach its two year mark this winter, and hope to see more people and more characters joining the adventures of our misguided group of misfits and hard chargers. And I would like to thank all of you for making this all possible.
So let's step it up, guys. We've got some aliens to kill!

Hey guys I do greatly apologise for my recent inactivity, the last few days for me are hectic as are the next few weeks. I am on the final push against the exam menace, the last offensive and gods willing I may never have to encounter another exam in my life, assuming I pass them all. I've been busy revising but finally managed to get a Faust post up, ironically I could think of what Silva would do but then some mean person got her shot. I don't know who that evil person was (Oops ) so it took a while to think of something Fausty to type up. Anywho hope you like it, if it needs editing or whatever give me a shout or a shove or if you out rank me an order lol.

It was great, Grace. No need to revise it. Yeah, I realize that for most people this is crunch time what with school ending and summer right around the corner. Exams are terrible, terrible monsters that I'm sure we all wish would simply burn. I know I always despised them passionately. But anyway, that's precisely the reason I've been so... lenient?... on everybody about activity. But as the wise stage master always says, "The show must go on!" And we have one hell of a show to put on. So right now I'm waiting on Davis (who Stone will physically assault if he doesn't post ), Gray, McMillan, and I think that's it. Well, besides Ward and Furby, which I can't do right now because Davis hasn't. Also, just as an FYI, Upshaw is at U.S. Army Basic Training right now, so his character is to be NPC'd until further notice. So... Faust... Yeeeaaahhh... Don't get him killed. I've been assured he fully intends on reprising his character once he's finished with BCT and AIT. Additionally, I will be unreachable (aside from granddad's phone) until possibly Thursday or Friday. That pesky little thing called phone service has reached its expiration date, and I won't be getting another card until then. I trust that Mr. Davis and Mr. Cruz (should he happen to pop in) will have this place kept under control (no crazy sexy parties guyz). If I find a single ribbon on the deck when I get back, it'll be extra PT for all of you, dished out by our loveable taskmaster Sergeant Stone. I'm sure all of you are now sufficiently frightened. If not... Meh. Lol. Anyways, I love all of you (no homo) and will see you again in a few days. But before I go, a message from Stone: Alrigh' ya bucktoothed tree-huggin' buddy-whackin' idjits... I'mma be gone with the El-Tee fer a lil' while. I swear ta sweet baby jumpin' Jevohah Jesus that should I find that y'all were havin' a party without me (that the El-Tee BETTER never know about), I will personally find the host (LOOKIN' RIGHT AT YOU DAVIS) 'n play competitive bitch toss with 'im from the inside of an airlock. Hint, hint: I'mma have an EVA suit on 'n he's gone be in nothin' but his skivvies when I toss 'im out inta vacuum by his pinky toe. Oh, 'n Wilkas, yer secrets safe wit me. Y'know what I'm talkin' 'bout. Y'all might think yer slick, but I've been 'round the block a whole lot longer than you 'n You Know Who combined. WARD! SHUT UP. NOBODY GAVE YA PERMISSION TO LAUGH. Love, Sarn't T. J. Stone P.S.: I'm still lookin' at'cha, Davis. P.S.S.: Stringer, yer next!
