When people meet Louise, the first thing that strikes them is how easy going and laid back she is. She doesn't easily get worried, annoyed or angered as she feels that life is too short for that sort of things. The only time she gets angry or annoyed is when people either say or do nasty things regarding family and friends and the UNSCMC. She also has a great sense of humour. Although if she is upset or hurt at something, she will do her best to hide it as she doesn't like to show those particular emotions.
Another thing about Louise is that she doesn't like to talk about her brother or the battle in which he was killed. She was very close to her brother and his death hit her hard, on top of that, she saw a lot of horrific things that day and throughout the battle which has led to her having nightmares sometimes. She never says anything about it though. When she does lose it, it is quite a scary sight. Normally she will find a puch bag to take her anger out on or if in battle take it out on the enemy. Before a battle Louise often becomes very quiet and complantative, as she finds that it helps her focus in battle. One final thing about Louise is that she likes to draw and in downtime, can often be found sketching away.
Physical Description:
If someone were to look at Louise Gray, they would instantly think that she is an overgrown tomboy. Louise's build is tall, slightly muscular but slim. She has short dark brown hair and has a pale skin complexion which has a slightly weatherd look due to the amount of time spent outdoors over the years. She has a dusting of light brown freckles across her nose and her eyes are hazel brown, which become beautifully clear when she is thinking about something.
She has the letters UNSCMC tattooed in a simple style on her upper right arm and a smallish American flag tattooed on the left hand side of her stomach. She also has various scrapes and scars, most of which are sports related. She has a scar on her lower right leg from playing football and one on her lower left arm from when she fell climbing a tree as a kid. However the two most noteable ones are the one running across her left cheek and the one on her back. The one on her back runs from the tip of her right shoulder blade to the bottom of her left ribs sustained when a large chunk of flying metal debris hit her. The one on her left cheek runs diagonally from the top of the cheek bone near the top of her ear and ends nears the start of her chin. Louise sustained that one through flying shrapnel.
Background Information:
Louise Sophia Gray was born on the 18th of March 2522 as the youngest of three children to parents Alex and Lucy Gray. Her father comes from a long line of Military Personnel and was home on leave at the time his daughter was born and her mother is a school teacher. She has two older brothers Jake and Daniel who were 2 and 4 years of age respectively when she was born. Growing up in Jacksonville, North Carolina, Louise had a relatively normal childhood, getting into all the normal childhood scrapes.
She had always be sport mad and could often be found watching or playing sports with her brothers, but her favourite sports is swimming. This love of swimming led to her being crowned champion 100 and 200 meter swimmer in both junior high and senior high school. At school she was an just average child academic wise but she shone when it came to Phys Ed.
Her father had retired from the military by the time she had finished high school in the year 2540 and both her older brothers had joined up. Louise who had always idolised both her brothers and father also wanted to do the same. She had a long talk with both parents towards the end of high school about it and eventually they agreed, so two days after her high school graduation, she went down to the local recruiting office and requested to join. Once all the formalities had been completed, Louise was shipped off to boot camp and once she completed that, Infantry Training. Although boot camp and Infantry Training was tough, really tough, Louise enjoyed it and always tried to do her best and made many friends throughout the duration.
However most of her friends ended up joining the ill fated 712th UNSC Marine Division. During the Battle for New Madagascar, in 2541, the entire unit was almost wiped out, save a few. Many of Louise's friends lost their lives in the battle alongside her oldest brother Daniel who also served in the 712th. Louise on the other hand joined the 710th UNSC Marine Division but ultimatley ended up in the same battle. Seeing her brother die nearly crushed Louise but she resolved to continue his fight. Unfortunatly the 710th went the same way as the 712th barring Louise and a handful others. It was during this battle that Louise gained the scars on her back and cheek. Once she had recoverd from her injuries, she was told that she would be reassigned to Second Platoon, Oscar Company, First Battalion, Twelfth Marines. Her other brother Jake is also in the First Battalion, Twelfth Marines serving as a corporal in Second Platoon, November Company.
