Been playing since "Day Zero" and all I have to say is WOW! Sledgehammer Games did a phenomenal job of taking COD and turning into a whole new game on an entirely different level. If you're on the fence about buying it, I highly recommend giving it a try.
My 360 tag is x0uchxScoundrel if anyone plans on playing it on there.

I have a few questions to ask to you regarding the statements made. You said the game is good and sets itself apart from the other COD titles. How so? How is it any better than the other games? What makes it so different? I am definitely on the fence about Advanced Warfare and need more info before I decide it is worth my time getting it.
Don't get me wrong, I believe you have good reasons for making the statements above; I'd just like to hear them before I decide to come up with the sixty bucks to buy it.

For one, the campaign is excellent (IMO). Not just some generic story, like usual, to go along with multiplayer.
As far as MP: No more quickscoping. Camping is a hell of a lot harder to pull off. No more knifing someone from a mile away (you literally have to be right up in a persons face to melee them). The vertical gameplay adds another layer of tactics to the conventional gameplay. The pace is practically turbocharged - so no more lulls in gameplay. Noobtubing is more difficult to get away with. The pick 13 setup, along with the exo abilities, make for a vast amount of possibilities. The weapons in general seem to be much more balanced out (except for the RM1 <- This is by far the best pistol to use).

Okay, you may have just managed to convince me that this is a game I need to buy. At the very least, if I get the chance to play it I won't turn it down. My biggest issues with COD have mostly been centered around the things you've outlined that they have fixed and/or are not present in the game. The pace never bothered me, though. I actually enjoy the occasional lull in the gameplay. I usually see it as a reprieve so that I can think and decide what my next move is (I play games with a tactical mindset, which is why I love the Battlefield games).
So, yeah. I'll definitely give 'er a try if and when I can.
