Alright, folks,
So due to the recent string of major inactivity, I'm gonna be running another activity check. I do not plan to have Oscar Company fade off into the sunset like the Lone Ranger. I believe we can continue to move forward if we can all come together and get the ball rolling again. Admittedly, I myself have been pretty inactive, and I apologize for that. Real life has been kicking my ass pretty heavily recently, but fortunately, it seems the worst is presently behind me.
You all have til the end of this month to check in stating you are here, still interested in O-Company, and active. I am holding the current turn in the RP open for you guys to post responses. Afterwards, we will be moving forward, as the show must go on (as a wise individual once said).
So, I myself (to include Ward, Stone, Bukar, and Furby) are here. If you do not post your status by the end of this month, you will be considered no longer with us, and your character up for the chopping block. I hate to say it, but that is the case. We do not NPC characters indefinitely.
I hope to see everyone respond. I enjoy role-playing with you guys, you're all amazing RPers, and you all have brought something special here to Oscar Company that I truly believe is irreplaceable. We are a great community, and I want to see it flourish, so that others may be inspired to join our little corner of the Interwebs and join in on our unique variety of Halo role-play.
Here we go.

Sorry, I'm here. Just been dealing with MAJOR bullshit. Also, none of my team have been posting and I've been trying to get post after post up that I can for as long as I can, but it's getting more difficult and it's less encouraging for me to make more when I can only at best post maybe a paragraph and a half.

Roger. Just hang in there, Kevin. We just need to shore up our position and keep pushing forward.
Glad to know you're still here.

This reminds me of a time when I had a team that won't postin' neither. It was back in '25, 'n we were in the thick of fightin'. Them damn split-jawed freaks were pushin' in on us harder than a doberman pincher with a damn thirst for blood. I was puttin' rounds downrange while my team was jus' a sittin' by, smokin' 'n jokin' I guess.
So ya know what I did?
Well, son, lemme tell ya what! Ya ain't seen nothin' scarier than a pissed off Marine with a frag grenade in one hand 'n a snowball in the other. Oh yeah, it was probably the dumbest move I ever done made. Shit coulda gone sideways any number of ways while my team was lollygaggin' like a trio of boots fresh off the grinder, smilin' real perdy 'cuz they just got their shiny new UNSCMC insignia 'n their DIs weren't hazin' 'em no more.
But I'll tell ya, I didn't care. I was jus' lookin' ta kill me some alien bastards. They tore my lil' homeworld apart 'n then expected me ta jus' lie down 'n take their beatins'? Oh hell naw. I charged across that open ground like a damn savage motherfucker, 'n I shoved that frag right down the throat of the nearest ugly that I came across, then smacked 'im with the snowball fer good measure. Then, there I was, out in the open. Exposed. No grenade. No snowball.
So guess what happened next?
You guessed it! No Marine ever leaves his rifle behind. I had mine slung across my back the whole damn time. I wrenched that rifle off my back 'n let loose, sprayin' hot lead at any ungodly sum-bitch that entered my field of fire. 'N I killed every damn one of those bastards, by myself, 'n used every last bit of ammo I had left. Ohhh it was glorious. I felt like damn good 'ol Earl Carson, that Marine from the Mars Campaign that charged at them commie sum-bitches 'n took out a whole damn platoon singlehandedly... or some shit.
The moral ta this story is simple: everything I just told ya is bullshit, 'n ya should go haze yourself fer believin' a second of it.
Hang in there, Corp'ral. Old Stone's got'cher back!
... now haze yourself, numbnuts!
Much Love,
Sarn't Thomas Jeremiah Stone

I'm one of those split-jawed heathens, and I approve the above message.

Sorry Gray and Lawrence are here. Sorry RL is kicking my ass really heavily and I am suffering from complete writers block. That is why I havent been on, I thought my muse might come back if I took a break, but so far it still eludes me
