I will say, the First Order seems like they got their stuff together. The Stormtroopers actually engaged targets accurately, called in air strikes, etc.

Not here just yet. Flannigan and I are hashing out the final details. The gist of it is we are skipping ahead to the tail end of the mission, on our return to the Vengeance. Our mission was a success, however, Phoenix III was lost.
It boils down to the Navy got their shit kicked and the Covenant swooped in and commenced to glassing the planet.

Oh, and before it is officially announced, I see it necessary to make a small, unofficial announcement. There will be new rules coming down the pipeline (nothing major) in the coming days. The Staff has come together and analyzed all of our past missions / intermissions, gauging what worked and what did not.
The rules for posting will be slightly modified. Standards will remain the same, but there will be a new method in which we move forward through RP and interact that I think all of you will appreciate and enjoy. The official announcement should be up tomorrow or, at the latest, Wednesday.
Also, Wednesday will mark the return to RP. New threads will be going up, and old threads will be moved to the appropriate boards for safekeeping. If you have any questions, feel free to ask.
The last thing I want to mention is that if you know anyone who might be interested in Oscar Company, please send them our way. Even if you're not sure, it never hurts to ask!
