Janine is a very cold towards other humans. She has no sense of morality and will expend others if necessary to complete her objective. Seemingly careless over fallen comrades, she does feel bad, but her sense is to complete the task so that the men didn't die in vain. This makes her very distant towards others as if she can't find interest in her reality, trapped in the past, in all the death and hatred.

She is very impatient, having the tendency to cut through the small talk and getting dead on point as soon as possible. This tends for her also to be a smart ass quicky spitting comebacks when caught off guard.

Their are two things that will earn anyone Janine's hatred. Those two main things are those who talk about prisoners or law breakers as if they weren't even people. She also despises alcohol and those who use it to get out of their problems.

However their are a few things that will always catch her attention. Talking about weapons, especially rifles, or going over pre-war hunting stories. However rare they are.

Physical Description:
Janine has dark tan skin that complements her dark hair and eyes. She has always been competitive and athletic, which shows in her muscular physique. Often Janine is mistaken for someone much younger than her actual age. This is a fact that both can be an advantage when thugs underestimate her skills, and also serves as an annoyance to the woman when she is trying to be intimidating.

She has long black hair that falls below her shoulders with a slight wave that stands in defiance of her attempts to squash her femininity. Her dark blue eyes are small oval shaped.

When casual, Janine is usually found in cargo pants and a tank top, most likely with a tool belt attached in case something breaks.

Background Information:
Heorot, a small bountiful moon that surrounded Saxon IV, was a vastly unexplored part of human space. Having only a small resort that would attract soldiers, hunters, and the occasional ship Captain to its annual hunting games. However some would disappear into the wilds and never return. It was a hub of activity for years, until the start of the human-covenant war. Most of its guests leaving to go fight, or run back to the core worlds. Leaving it's own staff, and a few local Marines to defend the moon.

Aleayna Grub was born in the Heorot resort. She was a normal baby, no real blemishes. However her mother did not survive bringing the child into the galaxy. Her Father, a young marine blamed the child for the untimely death of his fiancée. He wanted to abort, or abandon the child, but he chose to take care of it.

That was a good start, but it quickly took a turn for the worse. As her father turned to alcohol to sedate the pain he felt for his beloved. He would come home drunk screaming and yelling at his daughter for anything she did. Aleayna was lucky, another Marine would take her to his room when her father got to loud. Her life remained in this inevitable pattern, until her Savior Corporal Jean Travis was promoted and had to leave the resort. By now she had learned how to make food, get water, and take care of herself. Sadly her father had fallen even deeper into his alcoholism. He told his daughter he had a surprise for her, and tasked her to wear a blindfold. He then took her into the wilds where he had planned to dispose of what he perceived as holding him back. Sadly his plans would be foiled when a hunter by the name of Dustin Cores shot the lunatic as he went to go through with his plans. Dustin knew well he needed to get the girl and escape. He grabbed her and ran as far as he could until he reached his camp.

Aleayna's blindfold was removed by Dustin. Aleayna shrieked, but Dustin said he was her uncle and her father had said to take her out on a trip. The five year old lured into a false security easily accepted. And so they were, uncle and niece, traversing the rugged wilds of Heorot.

Six years of exploring with uncle Dustin had left aleayna waiting for a go home. Dustin however had grown to rely on the girl's company and so rarely did he part from her. However he knew well she was soon to be twelve, and so for her birthday he gave his Magnum, claiming it was from her father. Aleayna was amazed, and scared, but under Dustin's trusted guidance she would learn to shoot the Magnum. At a price though she had to carry half the camping equipment. She accepted, but soon regretted it. Dustin took most of the lighter items, leaving her with the ammo sack and the tent. The two heaviest things of the camp site. She knew though that if she broke her end she wouldn't get trained with her new toy. So she did her best, but couldn't keep up with Dustin and his lighter load. Although she soon found out why. Once he had disappeared from eye sight he would use his knife to mark X's in the trees. Once she caught up they would begin training, Dustin being the teacher and Aleayna the student. She was bad missing the targets at 10 yards. However Dustin taught her a few tricks and by the end of the first day she could hit the tree, but it wasn't a bullseye yet. Her training was 5 hours in the light. Then they would resume their flight. As they would settle down her training would resume in the dark. He would set up a small target at 10 yards. She would then attempt to hit the target. Even though she couldn't see so well she did manage to nip the target. This lasted 2 hours, then she was permitted to ease off the trigger and have dinner. Yet again, a routine started, with her getting stronger and more weapon proficient. By 14 she had moved from trees and clay to small game animals who roamed the wilds.

Sadly however life likes to throw a monkey wrench into life. While hunting Dustin was attacked, the beast ripped While hunting Dustin was attacked, the beast ripped Dustin's left arm off removing his ability to shoot his hunting rifle. Without his pistol Dustin was defenseless. Aleayna however was able to fight off the beast from 60 yards away. She save his life, but Dustin knew he wouldn't survive the night. So it was time to tell his only companion what was true. That he was not her uncle, and that her father was going to kill her had he not intervened. Aleayna was shocked, and flipped on her only friend. He told her what would happen if she returned she would be killed. He then added his own death into her reality, and said she needed to get help and gave her the map of their explored area. The resort was highlighted in red. He told her to go under his own daughter's name, Janine Cores. And then he asked her to take his rifle and leave him the Magnum to defend himself.

She agreed and took off only bringing the ammo bag and the hunting rifle. She made it with 3 hours until dark. Sadly when the guards saw the rifle they attacked her and put her in a holding cell. She screamed for someone to go help Dustin but as time went by she knew all too well he was dead.

For the next year she would stay imprisoned. Until she getwas moved to Mars. And she stayed there for another year until she was 16. A marine approached her finish her 50 year sentence, or join the marine Corp and fight for it. She was trained and ready to fight so naturally she agreed. She wouldn't go by Aleayna any further, and remained under Janine as Dustin was a much better father than her actual father. She shipped off the next week. Basic was easy, and her MOS wasn't terribly hard. Her first assignment was with 1113th marines. She fought the covenant on the front lines along with the marines. Her last deployment with the 1113th lead her against an anti air battery. The 1113 was almost destroyed but they managed to take down the cannon. Janine being the last rocket needed to bring down the Covenant's weapon. For her service she was promoted to Private First Class. However with the # of casualties the 1113th was disbanded and split. Janine landing into the Oscar company under her new assignment.
