M6C Magnum Weapon Overview: Range: Low [Effective up to 23 Meters] Accuracy: Moderate Power: High [12.7x40mm M228 Semi-Armor-Piercing High-Penetration] Rate of Fire: Slow [Semi-Automatic, 6 Rounds Per Second safely] Ammunition: Low[8 Rounds Fitted, 12 Rounds Extended] Description: The M6C is a semi-automatic, recoil-operated, magazine-fed handgun. It has DA, or double-action only trigger and fires the M228 12.7mmx40mm SAP-HP round (Semi-Armor Piercing, High Penetration) from a 12 round magazine by default, though it can also use the 8-round magazines as well. It has a considerably high rate of fire (6 rounds/sec or 360 rounds/min) with a limited maximum effective range, being able to hit a target accurately at only about 20 meters. User Notes: The M6C is standard-issue for Naval personnel, whereas the M6G is standard for Marines. That said, the M6 series is largely the same, with the same overall power, accuracy, and even shares magazine compatibility, with each being able to swap between the eight or twelve round magazines. However, the C variant has a shorter barrel, making it less effective at a range.

M6D Magnum Weapon Overview: Range: Low-Medium Accuracy: High [2x Scope] Power: High [12.7x40mm M225 Semi-Armor-Piercing High-Explosive] Rate of Fire: Slow [Semi-Automatic, 3 Rounds Per Second Effectively] Ammunition: Low [8 Rounds Fitted, 12 Rounds Extended] Description: The M6D Pistol is an 'up-sized' UNSC handgun issued to Navy officers, this model has been upscaled for use by SPARTAN-IIs in MJOLNIR armor. Even though the Spartan issue pistols are larger than the standard-issue variants they can still share magazines. The M6D is a semi-automatic, recoil-operated, magazine-fed, large-bore handgun that is controllable even during rapid fire, although at the cost of accuracy. It is most likely striker-fired, due to there being no visible external hammer. It fires M225 SAP-HE (Semi-Armor Piercing, High Explosive) rounds from a 12-round magazine. Operators can achieve an effective rate of fire of 3.5 rounds/sec or 210 rounds/min. The weapon is very accurate out to its maximum effective range. This accuracy allows incredibly precise target engagement at long range. This, combined with its decent damage against Energy Shields, makes it a viable option when faced with shielded opponents, such as Elites. It is, however, even more effective against unshielded infantry targets, being able to kill most targets in one shot to the head or two to three shots to the body. User Notes: Contrary to what Halo 1 would have you believe, the M6D has no real advantage over any other pistol. It does feature a 2x-zoom scope, unlike the C and G variants, which improves accuracy at a range, naturally. This makes it a slight improvement over a C or G variant, although not by an obscene amount.

M6G Magnum Weapon Overview: Range: Low [Semi-effective up to 100 Meters] Accuracy: Moderate Power: High [12.7mm x 40mm M225 Semi-Armor-Piercing High-Explosive] Rate of Fire: Slow [Semi-Automatic, 2 Rounds Per Second safely] Ammunition: Low [8 Rounds Fitted, 12 Rounds Extended] Description: The M6G Magnum is a semi-automatic, recoil-operated, magazine-fed handgun. It shares the explosive rounds of the M6D but has a more shallow magazine of eight rounds as well as a slower effective rate of fire. It lacks the linked electronic scope of the M6D, which is replaced by a laser sight. This allows it to be dual-wielded like its cousin, the M6C. It has short-medium range and good accuracy. It can be employed with great effect by an operator with a quick eye and steady hand, taking down fully shielded opponents in as little as five shots. User Notes: Not to be confused with the Army's M6G "B" variant, which is not available for our use at this time. The M6G is largely the same as the M6C, though it comes equipped with a laser sight, and its slightly longer barrel does make it slightly more accurate at a range.
