Thanks, Mase.
As to your question in the C-Box, I held four different MOS in my 9 years of service and acted as infantry for a good part of it. 92G, 14M, 19D (that one was the coolest), and 56M. I did a year in Baghdad and got to train in a couple of interesting locales.
So yeah, fun and interesting times.

From cook to cav scout, interesting transitions.
91B to 92A, with plenty of 31B training for me.

Ah, so, Fort Leonardwood for you too, I would assume?
And for the record, 56M (chaplain's assistant) is the best gig ever if you're attached to the right battalion and have a good chaplain. I had neither, and it was still a good gig.
Cav scout (complete w/ bradleys) is still the best one. Any job that they say "Take this track, sneak behind the enemy, rain down death, and then fight your way back out" is a good time in the making.
Also, MP's are asshats. Officially.

Relaxin' Jackson actually, for basic, since I was a 91B first. Then the creepiest post on the planet (Aberdeen Proving Grounds) for AIT. I thought about doing Chaplain's Assistant, but was more interested in taking shit apart. Was gonna do 35F since I had a 97 ASVAB, but someone jacked the last remaining spot right before me. I'm still bummed out about that one lol

Howdy Folks. I would like to say thank you to the vets first off. Now for me, my name is James. I was born in Moscow and moved to America when I was 5 so my entire life I went by Russian nicknames. The most common one was Vladimir because every would do a bad Dracula impression and say "Vlad". I found it entertaining so I just kinda kept the name. I am 20 years old and I was enlisted in the army, after 4 years of Army JROTC, when I was 18 to do Military Police, but a week before being shipped to basics I got hit by a drunk driver and it shattered my ribcage. Since then I have gone through physical rehab and I have recently started to try to reenlist but I gained about 70 pounds and I'm trying to lose that. For Video games I have always enjoyed the Halo series, with Reach being my all time favorite. I am also a fan of the Mass effect Series and I am a firm believer in the Indoctrination Theory. Here to watch a video about it. I have been Rping for 10 years all on forums. I did some on SW:TOR but it wasn't very good and I didn't like it much. I have done RPs from True Medieval to Fantasy Medieval to Modern Day School/City to Zombie Apocalypse and some Post-ME3 RPs but this is my first Halo one.

Nice resume there Vlad.
And sorry to hear about the ribs. That's tough. Thankfully, the USArmy takes all kinds. Always good to meet another army guy, even one who's not quite in yet.

I'm starting to believe there is some kind of conspiracy going on here. Perhaps even a plot at mutiny. Lol jk. It's funny, an RP about Marines goes live and the majority of the players are former Army or aspiring Army. Oh, the irony. Lol. Good to have you here Mstislav and I am sorry about what happened with the drunk driver. I hope you can make it into the Army, buddy. Welcome aboard.

@mason, HERESY! Lol.
Yeah, people can be ignorant. No worries, though. We're a pretty intelligent group of people. Except for Mason up there, who plots my demise. Lmao jk.
All in all, we're a good group of people with extensive RP experience who want to provide a good story for people to enjoy. Welcome aboard and I hope you'll enjoy it here.

No. This place is more awesome than Twitter. In fact, Twitter wishes it was us. Because we're awesome.
Did I sell it? Lol.
